As someone has pointed out, one man's meat is another man's poison, and I refuse to follow your strictures. As has been previously advised Desktop Help doesn't work with Windows 10 and unfortunately as far as I know there is no work around using it so until it gets updated you won't have any access to its facilities. Until it does get updated you can use the link provided in message 6 as a temporary measure.
This will provide the hub stats you usually get. There is the option of rolling back to Windows 7 so that you could use that until Desktop Help finally gets updated - this is an extreme solution but if using D.. Help is more important than the Windows 10 features then you could do this. As the question has been answered I have marked their post as the accepted solution and I'm also now going to lock this thread.

Check that you're connected to your Hub's network. It only fires up when you open a browser. Try opening a browser and going to www. Smart Setup only works when it is switched on in your Hub manager. By default Smart Setup is turned on, but it may have previously been switched off. Smart Setup only works the first time you connect each device to your Hub. If the device you're using it on has connected to your Hub before and completed Smart Setup already, it won't appear again.
If none of these reasons seem to explain why you're not seeing Smart Setup, it could be that you are using a device that's not compatible. No problem. If you're getting Smart Setup again on a device you've already set up, it may be that you have performed a factory reset on your BT Hub.
This restores your factory settings and wipes your Hub's memory about which devices have already completed Smart Setup. If you haven't done a factory reset, it may be that you didn't fully complete Smart Setup when you connected your device. This means your Hub hasn't yet registered your device as completed. Make sure you've completed every step of Smart Setup. Ask the BT Community. Contact us. BT Mini Hub specification sheet. Ask the BT Community. Contact us.
