This is my first post and I tried to search this forum for the answer, but I got a little lost. I have a Fleetwood Southwind 27ft and I have a furnace question. I have used the furnace several times, but always plugged into the shore AC.

This weekend we went camping in the woods, and I could not get the furnace to fire. I tried to start it with the generator running and without the generator. I turned the thermostat to ON and set it to The blower kicked on and after a few seconds I could hear a click coming from the furnace, but no heat. I could smell propane coming out the furnace exhaust. I followed the procedure on the furnace of waiting, and re-trying 3 times.

It never started. I had the propane tank filled before I left, and sitting in my driveway, plugged into the shore AC line, I tried everything to make sure it worked. I got the stove and oven burning, the water heater working, the fridge cold, and the furnace working blowing very hot air.

I got up camping and everything working but the furnace. I checked all the fuses and they looked good. The gas line to the furnace was open, and I have reckecked everything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?? Does the ignitor for the furnace run off DC when not plugged in to AC or on generator I could not find a manual for the furnace. Also I had the AC line plugged into the outlet into the internal housing where it is suppose to be before you ask.
